This is a video of the 1993 Lightweight Single Sculls final – the first of three consecutive Gold Medal performances by Peter Haining mbe one of our greatest ever rowers. This is an inspirational video – not his best sculling example – but shows the guts & determination that differentiates a World Champion from us mortals! – talk about doing it the hard way!
