Minority Business – Minority Owned Business

I am both female and disabled. In Oct of 2009 I started my own business. I have no employees and only work a few hours a week cleaning residential homes earning little income. I have been told that I am eligible for a tax credit based on the fact that I am considered a minority owned business. AARP will be doing my taxes this year as I can not afford to pay someone and I wanted to ensure I received all the credits I’m eligible for. Please share any information you have on the subject.
